Job search site. A Django application backed by MySQL where people post resumes and companies post vacancies — both are ads with a city, a title, experience and a skill list, searchable from either side. Accounts are email-based, with activation, password and email change flows, and each ad can be edited, archived or deleted from its owner’s panel.

The repository also carries the design work behind it: ER and data-flow diagrams, a logical data model, and the SQL schema next to the Django code that implements it.

Up and running

To run this site, first of all, you need to:

  1. Specify your config data in .env_exmpl file
  2. Rename it to .envrc
  3. Run docker-compose up --build
  4. Open http://localhost:8000/ in browser

Palette

Here is where I got that palette, that you could observe on site.
